A game of 2 players

Posted on March 9, 2008. Filed under: Football |

Today’s game was tight, in fact too tight that the game only managed to score 3 goals for both teams. Kilin with his new blue R9 Nike boots scored a hat trick for the away team. Both teams played with pace and tenacity. The home team had several golden opportunities to put the game beyond reach of the away team but all squandered their chances. The guilty parties were Reza, Kazi and Ben. Guilt edged chances were there for the picking but the home players threw them away.

The away team scored first when Kilin expertly slotted the ball pass Reza in goal. But the away team was shocked when Khaliq’s shot from the right acute angle found its way into the empty goal. He managed to overtake Izuddin in goal difference. He later reverted back to defense to try and maintain the goal line. And then it was a game of two men. Reza and Kilin both scored hat tricks.

Correction to last game’s score board on Azmi’s total goals scored to 46.
