Friday game report

O’Neil was back in the fray after a long absence. The home team was playing a handicapped game with the away having an extra player on their side. but it was the home team that controlled most of the game. With O’Neil proving to be the thorn to away defense all day, carved out chances after chances for both Azmi and Ben. The away team was full of youth and exuberance and proved to be we guarded with Reza as their captain. The defense was breached in the end when O’Neil received the ball from Azmi from the centre of the field and a lucky kick from the side of O’Neil’s leg guided the ball into the goal although under pressure by Reza and Khalik.

Ben who played mostly on the right wing carved out chances after chances for the away team and were successful in giving Azmi the 2nd goal for the home team. The goal was clinical as well when Ben delivered an inch perfect cross from the right with just Azmi ready to pounce the ball. Azmi later gave the away side some hope when he later kicked the ball into his own net after being pressured by Kazi. Kazi later scored 2 more goals to add his tally to 29 in all competition.

O’Neil once again scored for the away team and Azmi concluded the game with another fine display netting a hat trick.

MOTM: O’Neil for his cool composure on the ball and controlled the game the whole throughout.
