Father and Son destroyed the Away team

Posted on April 18, 2008. Filed under: Football |

The home side played out a balanced side with Reza working in the middle of the park with Abang and Ariz playing up front. Ben played in his usual centre half role. The game was nowhere near 5 minutes when the home team blew a sucker punch to the away team as Abang got into the scoresheet after some persistent play deep inside the away team’s back line. Ariz who played up front alone for most of the time got into the act with an easy tap in courtesy of a through ball from Reza. He again scored another simple goal after Abang played a through ball with the easiest task in the world to just tap in the ball into the empty net. Ariz got his hat trick of the game when Abang’s goal bound shot was intercepted by Ariz and he again tapped in the simplest of goals.

The away team had no reply until Kilin entered into the foray with his neat passing and energy for the away team. He finally broke the duck for the away team when he whipped in the ball with only Reza to beat. The second came in from a counter attack as Kilin drifted on the right fired a rasping shot past Ben and Reza for his second of the game. Any thiking of a comeback was soon halted by the home team when Jimbo scored the 6th for the home team altho Kazi added the third for the away team, which merely was a consolation really by the stage as Reza put the icing on the cake as his shot on the right flank rattled the goal post and went in for the 7th of the game.

MOTM: Reza for his run in the engine room and distributing the ball well.
