2 own goals prove costly for the home team.

The home team looked doomed as the away team cruise through the game with only 15 minutes on the clock thanks to 3 goals from Unc.Metali, Azmi and an own goal from Jimbo after he deflected Afif’s shot into his own goal.

But the home team staged what seemed to be a comeback when Jimbo’s lobbed shot sailed into the away team’s goal reducing the gap to just 2 goals. Ben then added the second for the home team after pouncing on the loose ball on the right. Afif pulled one back for the away team defeating Khalik on goal. Ben scored his second of the day after pressuring Afif in the middle of park and creating little space for him to take the shot.

Kazi returned after missing the mid week game scored a typical poacher’s goal to give the extra edge back to the away team. Reza added extra dimenson for the home team as he carved out chances after chances for himself and other players. He even hit the upright after Izuddin managed to get away from his markers on the left. Izuddin was duly rewarded for his constant pressure up front after his near range shot went in. Ben then scored an own goal and killed away any intent of a comeback from the home team after his intended block from Kazi’s cross went in for the final killer.

MOTM: Afif, made runs all over the pitch and created chances for himself and others.
