Back to winning ways

The home team got back to their winning ways as they out played a classy away team. Again, the home team played with great determination in defense and attack. Kazi played as the striker with Khalik going to the right flank. Reza reverted back to midfield which he throughly enjoyed his free role and Ben in defense. The away team had the might of Azmi, Kilin, who has been in blistering form in the last game and Unc.Metali and Izuddin in the midfield roles.

The away team was made frustrated when chances after chances were warded off by Khalik, Reza and Ben. While on attack, it was Reza who carved out most of the openings for the home team. Chances went begging for Khalik and Kazi in front of goal. But it was Kazi who supplied the cross to Reza to give the home team the lead. A clear hand ball by Unc Metali was cancelled out after Reza was allowed to claim his goal with a simple side foot into the empty net. Khalik had a brilliant game on the right as he thwarted attacks from Kilin and Azmi from the flanks and helping out the defense.

The second goal came when Reza jinxed into the penalty box and provide a perfect cross to Kazi who tapped in the simplest goal. The away team got back into the game after they made a blistering counter attack through Kilin on the left flank. Kilin scored again this time as he left Ben stranded on goal. But Ben made amends as he reverted back to the right flank in exchange of  khalik. This proved to be a vital move as Ben came up with the third goal for the home side when he intercepted Azmi on the right side and shot the ball past Kilin and Unc. Metali to make the final score 3-1 to the home team.

MOTM: Reza, his inventive play in the middle of the park carved out chances after chances and excellent defensive duty.
