5 a piece as home team scraped for a draw

The home team was overpowered in yesterday’s game as the away side had the experience, pace and skills to rip the home side defense. The away side must be gritting their teeth  after they were unable to convert glorious chances and  take the game  in the bag when the home side drew level  right on the  death.

A dogged display and determination in defense saw the home side managed to keep the scoreline respectable. The away side ran away with 2 quick goals in the opening minutes after Kilin broke the deadlock and Azmi scored  a few minutes after. The home side came back through Izuddin after a clever pass from Ben.

The away side piled in more pressure when Azmi scored another goal to put back the 2 goals advantage. But Izuddin once again pulled one back to keep the scoreline respectable. With a bit of luck Azmi put the ball in his own goal when Jimbo’s shot deflected in for the leveller.

The away side added O’Neil in their attack and saw them overpowered the home team easily and they scored 2 more goals from Azmi who now scored 4 goals. O’Neil proved to be a constant menace to the home side’s defense and nearly scored as well with a header which hit the upright.

Reza came in late in the game to add extra power to the home side and he did manage to score but was deemed as an own goal after his wide shot deflected in by Kilin for the 4th. The home side got their reward in the final minute when Reza played a brilliant pass on the right to the unmarked Unc.Metali who scored with a simple tap in at the far post to give the killer leveller.

MOTM: O’Neil for his clever positioning and opening up plays.
