Game ended with broken bone

There was drama at manggis park yesterday after Jimbo suffered a broken bone on his thumb. The ball hit his thumb when he tried to block Azmi’s pass on the left wing. He continued on for a few minutes but later had to retire from the pain because of the excruciating pain.

Before that, the game saw an end to end attack from both home and away side. The away side started off brilliantly after going ahead by 2 goals courtesy of Izuddin and Jimbo. The home team pressed forward and came up with numerous chances. They were awarded when Unc.Metali gave them the goal they badly needed to lower the deficit.

The home suffered another setback when the away team scored another 2 more goals thanks to Kazi who only just came on and Reza with another speculative thunderbolt.

Unc.Metali again reduced the deficit with his dinking run to slot the ball pass Reza in goal to make it 4-2. The home team again rallied on and was awarded with a penalty slot when Azmi’s pass was handled by Kazi in the penalty area. Ben then slotted from the spot to make the scoreline 4-3. It was a nervy game in the end and had to be stopped due to the injury suffered by Jimbo. In the end, the away team held out to a 4-3 win.

MOTM: Reza, Captained the away side and defended resolutely.
